Have the mailserver centralized somewhere - you definitely need a static ip for
receiving mails, you know ;)

Set pine or mutt with the sender domain as [EMAIL PROTECTED] - what is the
issue? Have the mails sent through your ISP's smtp server instead of direct
from dialup - http://linuxindia.virtualave.net/vsnlcon.html

that is not much of an issue ... it is easy to setup fetchmail to download each
pop mailbox only to the appropriate employee's login.
If you want to share data across all your locations, you are screwed - you need
static IPs. If you get that, set up VPN with leased lines interconnecting them
- and assign each location a class B ip block in the 10./8 range for allocating
IPs (like Bombay gets 10.1./16, Madras gets 10.2./16 etc).
Otherwise, with just sending and receiving mail, I dont see why there is any
problem ...
