Hi
Setup dialin server at main mail server, and modify DNS to reflect private ips.
like map madras.company.com to 192.168.x.x. And continue....
I hope you have multiple lines to dial in simaltaneously. Otherwise you are
needed to mange ips when you are establishing ppp. Allocate ips depending upon
the no. from which you ar dialed into. Or best way keep same DNS everywhere and
accept the dialer's idea of wht the ip addressess are. Simple. No hassle on
server side. Just maintain same DNS info every where.
On each non-static-ip mail server only two dns entries are needed. What's
address of main server(common to all cities) and what' the local ip address.
Even /etc/hosts will do in that case.
BTW how are you going to dial intercity? STD calls or some other means?
