Get the latest lilo rpm. And install it. Read the documentation
for it. I thing there is one keyword to be given in lilo.conf.
All ur problems are due to the boot partition being beyond 1024
cylenders. If u can't get the latest lilo, the best will be to make a
small partition for /boot before and within 1024 cylinders.
