Corel is based on an ancient Debian release.

If anything, there are more .deb packages than .rpm packages. So instead
of downloading an rpm, converting it to deb using alien and pushing your
luck, just search http://packages.debian.org/ to see if the software has
already been packaged.

The core RH distribution is fine. But rpmfind.net is a nightmare. Let us
say I want to download the rpm for ssh. I go to this hard to navigate site
and see that there are 3-4 rpm packages of the same version of ssh (ALL for
the same architecture!). How do I decide which one to download? Besides,
reporting bugs to some J. Random Package Maintainer's package is a pain.
