Dear Mr. Varghese, you sewm to be facing the same problem as me.  You either
need Redhat 7 which many have say is "buggy" and features Grub (which
somehow allows you to place you boot partition outside the 1st GB of your
HDD, dont ask me how or why). Or you can do as i'm doing. moving to Mandrake
7.1/7.2 depending on which one i can get hold of. Both versions feature
grub.
