[LIH] sendmail 8.11 installation problem

Hi,
 I have downloaded sendmail 8.11 from sendmail.org site in tar.gz file. Is
it necessary to downloaded .sig file for installation. I unzip the file
then i installed but it it not installed properly. Please send me the
details procedure for installation of Redhat 6.2.
