Hi all,
I am facing a weird problem. I have a 33.6kbps gvc modem. And it works
perfectly under Win95 for vsnl dialup. But when I try getting it to work
under linux, it connects, the CD light glows and it drops the line
immediately.
I tried using plain minicom and connecting to see if I can atleast get the
login+password and ppp session going. But after connect, I see the
username prompt and before I can type anything it drops the line.
I tried the same thing with hypercom under M$. But the same thing happens.
Since this happens even before I can enter the username, its definitely
a modem problem.
I have my S10 set to 200.
Any clues???
