Hi

RedHat is not including 2.4 in their distribution. They  are just providing
another point of download. Remember linux kernel is never released as you can
think with Windows software. It's always available. By release of kernel, it
means that it's been declared as stable enough for any use.

 Right now you can download, compile and use 2.4 kernel. They are available and
many people have found it quiet useful.(Listers... Support...:-)). If you find a
bug and report it, that will be your contribution to the community....:-))
