Motorola SM56 is a winmodem but you can get a beta rpm for it from
motorola itself. My cousin got a zip file with a rpm and two pdf files
describing the chipset. The rpm seems to contain a module sm56.o so I
guess we do a insmod and everything is hunky dorry - I personally dont
have access to the modem so I can't comment on it's workings...
