1) When ever i try to compile any s/w using make or try to run the script
file ./configure or ./install I get the errors, searching for QT...no
(no QT header and libraries)please check !
a) when i searched for qt on my system and I found that the libraries are
installed /usr/lib/qt-1.45
and ldconfig -v also shows the symlinks. But still the problem remains.
b) I tried to specify the qt path in the configure, the script stops by
saying unable to find kde...
When i have complete kde installed on my system (base and libraries) and it
is working fine.
I don't know why this error occurs.
2)Svga library problem:
a) I tried upgrading my svga lib in two ways
1)I tried compiling from the tar, but the compilation stops at a point
where it says

.
keyboard.c [Error 1]
.
.
[Error 2]
.
2) I got the binaries from www.svgalib.org and unpacked them in the
/usr/local/lib directory and made the necessary links. Then I added the
path into /etc/ld.so.conf file and when i run ldconfig -v It find the
files. But it still doesn't work.
Can any body help me please !
I have RH7 installed with both discs on my system. I have installed all the
packages.
