I think you didn't read my posts in this thread. The listener usually
is sendmail. Maybe you have a sendmail problem.
Anyway, please do one more test. Run:
fetchmail --nodetach --verbose --keep --fetchlimit 1 --mda='/bin/cat' \
username@servername
and tell me what happened (that is, whether it showed the entire mail
on screen or not).
