here is something that is interesting..
I had posted the link to conexant modem driver yesterday. But on my system
RH7 kernel 2.2.18 when i insert the modules, the device is recognised but
gives me a segmentation fault and some random code. After which, I keep
getting the error
VFS:disc change detected on /dev/hda . I don't know why this is happening.
The modem is taken as a character device.Could this be a problem ?
2) This does not happen on the original linux kernel 2.2.16-22 (from
redhat) The modem dials but is unable to detect the carrier.
Has anybody else used this driver and faced the same problems ?
Any solutions ?
