Look in /etc/sysconfig/sendmail
Set QUEUE=0s, note it is zero, not O

In /etc/mail/access and the IP of the client from which you want to realay or
you can add the range of IPs from which to relay.
Then run makemap hash access.db < access in /etc/mail/
Restart sendmail as /etc/rc.d/init.d/sendmail restart
and Suresh, pls correct me if I am wrong :)
