When I had this card, I used the SVGA server which came with Red Hat 6.0 and
that worked for me. No problems. However the X server which came with Red Hat
6.1 gave me problems. So try to install the old SVGA server.

For further documentation on configuring sis6215 card go to

I have narrated my experiences there.
