Comment out entry of telnet from /etc/inetd.conf and restart inetd by
/etc/rc.d/init.d/inetd restart. Anyway it's worth to take a look at inetd.conf
and diable any unwanted services especially ftp....
BTW do an nslookup to the addresses mentioned in the log as source of unwanted
telnet. They may give you some clue. Anyway chances are that it leads to another
hacked server...

P.S. did you mean 'trying to crack in'? That looks more appropriate. There is
hell of a difference between two. Many hackers on this list will tell you
that... :-))
