Has anybody tried ALSA with DEVFS ? I have been able
to load the modules but XMMS is not able to access
/dev/audio The documentation is unclear about details.
#cat /proc/asound/sndstat shows AUDIO and SYNTH is not
enabled in config. Has anybody been successful with
this setup.
Kernel ver = 2.4.2
Mandrake 7.0
