Hi all!
   thanks for the response. i had infact tried all possible combinations
...i mean diff slices... i had restricted the /boot within 1024 cylinders
  but i am still not able to install.
      does RH6.2 have SCSI support??  i am trying to install RH6.2 on a
Unisys 6000/35 m/c.. 32MB RAM..1386..Adaptec aha1740 driver..
