Since I didn't want to trust apt-get to download all the X 4.0.2 files
over internet, I used a download manager to get them all. I have all
X 4.0.2 .debs, but don't know how to install them using apt-get.
Are you using i810? If so, please post me a detailed howto, please.
For one month, I am struggling with this.
Sound is working, net connection is okay. But without X up under Debian,
I can't get off Redhat. Redhat has become easier, while Debian is posing
a challenge.
