I have installed RH6.2 with kernel 2.2.16. I used agpgart and XFCom_i810
given in PCQ feb CD. It worked. In debian, I installed by default
2.2.18pre in potato with agpgart and did MAKEDEV in /dev. It was invoked
in modules.conf also. I changed the Xserver first line to XFCom_i810 and
copied the same from RH to deb /usr/bin/X11 where other Xserver reside.
It didn't work. I compiled kernel 2.4.1 using PCQ CD. Here also I did
all these.
Still it is of no use. Can you tell me how to go about it in debian step
by step.
