Sunil Dhaka rearranged electrons thusly:

That means your network is isolated from the entire world, on a 10.xx.xx.xx
IP? What you are suggesting is "nobody from an outside domain can send mail
to users within my domain"
Get it ...
user@internet --- your mailserver ---> user@your-domain <-> OK, happens all
the time
user@internet -- your mailserver ---> [EMAIL PROTECTED] <-> third party
relay (what you are talking about)
When you run a mailing list using the aliases file you run into case # 1
above
