Can anyone tell me what maximum load that the CPU can tolerate for long
periods of time. When I run SETI, the load hovers around 1. I would like
to run multiple instances of seti, and the load will shoot up to 2 or 3.
Can the CPU tolerate such loads? Will it affect the CPU, in any way?
My CPU is a Pentium III Coppermine processor at 500 MHz with 256 KB
 primary cache.
