Windoze sucks ... but SMB is a cross platform standard... M$FT might call
it Windoze Networking ... Digital used to call it "Pathworks" wonder what
happened to it after the compaq takeover (I got a cool phonebook from
digital ages ago for pathworks) And if I'm not mistaken Apple also has a
SMB thingie.
And please don't credit M$FT for anything ... I can't think of anything
they didn't rip off from someone else!! (and do a bad job of
implementing it)(with the sole exception of perhaps the BSOD !! :)
