Hi,

I need to decide on internet connectivity for 40 man development / business
development centre near MG road. What is the best internet connectivity
option.

The once that are available and there yearly cost as much as I know are
given below:
1. Calble by zee or USN Networks: Cost Rs 63,000
2. DSL: Rs 54,000 by dishnet DSL. (<1 gb data transfer each month)
3. Leased Line: Rs 3.6 Lakhs by mantra a bit too expensive given the budget
4. ISDN: Rs 1.45 Lakhs+ telephone bill
5. Normal Dialup: Telephone bill + isp charges

Requirement:
1. From 9 Am to 7 Pm high speed connection approx 64 kbps
2. From 6 am to 9 am and 7 pm to 6 Am even a slower speed will do as
number of users online will not exceed 10.

I look forward to feedback from all of you, with experience in dealing
with either of the above companies and technologies,

Regards

FTP. Really, all the doze people here are now shifting to ftp for
file sharing. SMB really sucks on windows, and Samba being based on SMB
can be atmost a few steps ahead. (Just my opinion)

LIH is all for free speech. But it was created
for a purpose. Violations of the rules of
this list will result in stern action.
