if u have a linux m/c setting DNS is not difficult even and that can be
used for any no of machines u are adding to yr net
and as far as yr problem is concerend its only due to lookup as
things are working fine with IP no but not with name so
pls check out yr windowz m/c hosts,
thing will turn up correctly
