Hi Shridhar,
When I said GPL, I meant that a font which anyone can use. Like
Bharatbhasha'a fonts which I have started using. The trouble with the
Bharatbhasha guys is that they are not available for any discussion on
further improvements / developments / work in more languages, and I want
to give a strong push to such (freely usable and with a phonetic
keyboard like that of Bharatbhasha) Indian-language fonts by promoting
their use in many organisations and on atleast one major websites that
is being planned in all Indian languages.
Can you help me reach a font with such specs :
Phonetic keyboard;
Available or being developed in all Indian languages;
No locks, etc. for use on any number of machines;
Usable on all platforms (Linux, windoze, etc.);
Dynamic version available for website.

If someone wants, I can get a commercial order to help one-time
development also; an offer which I ahve sent to Bharatbhasha and got no
response.

The other question: Can you help me with steps to load ttf fonts
(Bharatbhasha for example) on Linux ? I use RedHat 6.2 with KDE that
came with PCQ.
