The correct way would be to follow the instructions given on redhat's site
along with each kernel that they release in rpm format... the latest they
have released for the 2.2 series is 2.2.19 and there are multiple rpms and
they have given details instructions on howto go about it.

things like pcmcia for the older kernel break when u install the new one!
so it's best to have the bootdisk and the linux setup CD(or RPMs) handy!
