Hi,
1) I'm on a Dial-up (I seems like rdate is programm that uses the internet -
and I don't even have it installed)
2) running SuSE, so no /etc/sysconfig... or <<setup>> or linuxconf (I should
have told you directly, sorry)
3) tried with yast several times, set the timezone on local or GMT - didn't
help /change anything
Had to change the settings in /etc/rc.config by hand (put everything on GMT)
than ran SuSEconfig and rebootet. Now everything seems fine. Seems to be a
yast-bug.
anyhow tnx for the ideas and the fast reply
Tom
