hi,
I am getting this strange error every now and then
ide0:reset timed-out, status=0x80
hda:status timed-out :status=0x80 {Busy}
hda:drive not ready for command
this just comes over.sometimes this happens for the cdrom also.
what do i do?.this keeps on repeating and i have reboot my machine.My
kernel is 2.2.17-19(is it consequential??).
PS:I fiddled with hdparm a couple of days ago but i swear i set the
setting to the original state namley no DMA, 16 bit access etc.,.
