Ofcourse tweaking will be needed but given a choice between having a stock 6.2 coming up live and a standard 7.1 server install coming up on the net which one would be recommended considering the amount of upgrade needed to lock down and secure it and work properly.. Personally I believe the lesser amount of upgrade needed less likely I am going to miss something.
