i.e. back up your /usr/local and /home stuff and restore. I reinstalled mandrake
today due to install of doze. I restored my customized settings in hust one
command. 'cd /home;rm -rf *;tar -xjvf home.shridhar.tar.bz2'... Very neat to my
satisfaction. ...
