It was successful. I want to upgrade to 2.2.16 from 2.2.14. Trying patch -p1
2.2.15 and then patch -p1 2.2.16 . But some packages are already installed
it says. The distro provided in the Red Hat 6.2 PCQ CD seems to be
problematic.

Trying to install the whole kernel now. Thanks once again...
