Good Linux to e'body,
Thanks to all of you for helping me to setup my working Internet
connection etc. I can send & recv mail using Nscape Messanger in X.
Now I want use mutt, so pl. help me :
1) What to do to dnload mail from remote POP server, using mutt ? ( i.e
what to change in Muttrc.conf file for automating mail send/recv job.)
and what-ever else to do. (By the way, is it Muttrc.conf or muttrc.conf
? It is Muttrc.conf in my /etc .)
Note : Presently I can use mutt for sending and reading mail by diff.
user on diff. consoles of he same machine. But it says POP server not
found while retreving remote mail . I have set the mail-box under root
and new-user directory of /var/spool/mail.
2) Is it neccessary to have functional fetchmail ( for retrieving ) and
functional sendmail ( for sending ) ?
3) Can we use shell a/c phone no for using pop/smtp servers while using
mutt ?
4) ppp-on etc scripts are neccessary for using mail-clients from
command prompt?
5) How to allow a new user to use a particular software, like mutt etc.
( Permission setting etc., as I heard about security-risk using root
login ) ?

N.B. : Sorry for wrong dates in some prev. mails. My brother had changed
it to activate some out-dated shareware software. I have restored it.
