In which case, your procmail recipes wouldn't work.

No need of a full-blown mailserver.  Get something like Masqmail or
Nullmailer to send out mails to your ISP's smarthost, and use procmail as
your mail delivery agent in .fetchmailrc (man fetchmail will give you the
syntax you need - look for "mda")

ps - Please trim the rest of the mail when you don't quote it - and also, if
possible, don't "top post" by quoting a whole mail and typing your reply
above it.  It's a total waste of bandwidth (and this NOW-India dialup stinks,
not to mention that their servers are all open relays so I have to send out
all mail through my ISP's smtp server in the USA ... *mutter*)
