linux2.0?
the latest version of linux is 2.4.x why should you install linux 2.0.and
also you should be installing a linux distribution.linux is only the
kernel.so get yourself a copy of redhat 7.1 or mandrake 8 or any other
distribution with good laprop support and boot off the cd if your laptop will
support it.by default most linux distributions,install a boot loader,like
lilo or grub in the MBR which will give you a choice of selecting the OS
while booting.the installation program will guide you thru' the procedures of
dualbooting and installing lilo etc.but before that read the installation
guide that would be given in the distro cd.
