That's good. Each of them have good points and bad points.

Well, First of all I am glad to see that people think linux can make it. Few 
years ago they didn't even bother to think in this direction(This is not to you. 
Just in general..)

May be for KOffice but not for other parts. KMail is good enough. And even with 
KWord I find it simple to use than word. LEss cluttering aboard...And stylist is 
good. I liked it...

I agree but things have improved and instead of putting a table, if you put a 
kspread frame it always worked. Native tables was a problem. But I think it's 
been addressed.

Word is a good editor but not good enough word processor. KWord is reaching 
there. Will surpass others soon.(No offecse to other suits like abiword. I have 
never tried them). Of course barring lyx/latex...

About kword I will let you know in couple of days. Writing my first official 
document in KWord and using HTML as communication medium with word. I hope the 
experiment works.
