Dead right. No editor supports left and right justification only
word wraps. Double spaceing in WS (Ctrl-OS2) is in document mode
only. I have WS ingrained into my genes ... just can't forget.
Back in the CP/M days there was only WS, DBASE-II and VisiCalc,
and ofcourse COBOL and Pascal compilers :)

Source is in nasm 0.98. Pre-compiled binaries also available in
the tarball. I forget the URL ... Just search at google for "e3
editor".

I have two modes of doing mails.

a) Self written bash script, where mail is composed using e3,
then re-run through e3 after a "par" justification. The second
run is necessary since "par" is not quite intelligent enough and
it concatanates lines which you do not want joined (unless
seperated by blank lines) ! Then I push it directly to the
addressees server using "sendmail -v -t".

b) Mutt: with .exrc for nvi.
See http://math.fu-berlin.de/~guckes/ for details.

I use a self-written bash script for the purpose which gives me
an option to send random or specific. In the random mode, it is
quite random on the same machine ... I tried the fortune program
too ... but found maintaining a flat file rather difficult, so I
wrote another script to convert existing files to a fortune db.
Chances of repeats will reduce once the numbers increase ... It
stands at 98 as on date ... It is still less repeatative than
company logos and disclaimers :)

Sub : Locking a directory LOST #013

To "lock" a directory under your /home/bish directory for privacy of
data, do:
chmod 000 dir/ .... ["root" still has access though]
Changing permission to 000 even denies an ls to that dir by all
users. You need to do chmod 755 or 777 (for access).
