Errr, there is nothing special about the username root, except for what
it symbolizes (tree root, filesystem root, user root....).
Actually it is often a good security practise not to have the superuser
login as root, And many installations have security policies that  mandate
keeping an "alternate root" as an emergency measure in case something
unforseen happens to the root login.
