Thank you very much for your so elaborate reply. But you understood my
problem  from some different way. My problem is with users < 100 uid like
rpc, rpcuser, junkbust etc. In a bid to keep old user ( which I was able
to do ) I lost some process users. 

I suppose these users will be same for one particular type of installation
( I use Custom and install every thing ). The solution I seem is
reinstallation, which I want to avoid. That's why I requested list members
to send me passwd ( uid < 100 ) I don't want user > 100 uid. Infact I
tried to create to user manually, all services start properly, but a few
fails during shutdown.

I will be grateful If you or any other can extent possible help.
