Dear friends, I have configured one machine to be a dhcp server and all the others are configured as dhcp clients. But the dhcp server could not allocate ip addresses even though the request was reaching it. I later found that if i set all the 3 parameters (output,input,forwarding) of firewall to accept, the server works fine. But this particular setting would not allow firewall security level to be high. what is the solution for setting the 3 paramete to deny/reject and have the dhcp server working well?
