I prefer slack (similar look and feel to freebsd) - and somehow have the feeling that I wouldn't touch dselect and apt-get with a ten-foot pole. Others will have the opposite preference, I'm sure. Otherwise, both of these distros are quite well reasoned - stable, powerful, without a taste for rushing through with versions and releasing "the latest and greatest software". They are also quite secure out of the box compared to redhat or mandrake. -- Suresh Ramasubramanian <----> mallet <at> efn dot org EMail Sturmbannfuhrer, Lower Middle Class Unix Sysadmin [Linux One Stanza Tip] From : <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> LOST #003 -**< Sub : Catching console output >**- To capture console output to file, when lines just scroll ... $script <filename> | $<issue command> | Then, view with $less <filename> $exit | _______________________________________________ linux-india-help mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/linux-india-help
