Search redhat's bugzilla for "L440GX, aic7xxx" - I think there was a bug in
the redhat 7.2 released kernel which caused hassles with this. Just download
the updated image (updates disk) and write it onto a floppy with dd
if=whatever of=/dev/fd0, or use rawrite.exe in your linux CD.
Follow instructions after that.

To know the total size of hard disk inclusive of Non-Linux and
non-formatted partitions, as root do:
#echo p | fdisk /dev/hdX 2> /dev/null
(where X is a, b, c etc)
OR #fdisk -l (this will list all drives together)
