Thanks Suresh(LIH) and Atul(BLUG)!

It worked. I browsed http://bugzilla.redhat.com , found bootdisks for RH
7.1. passing a kernel parameter at boot: prompt worked.

The URL http://www.redhat.com.br/support/resources/gotchas/7.1/ also helped!

I tried the same kernel parameter on RH7.2 and it worked beautifully without
any new boot disk creation, ( I searched but I did not found any so I tried
it on the 7.2 Installation CD itself)

The Kernel parameter is:

boot: linux apic

It Works on my Intel 440GX motherboard!!!!!!.

There is one thing I want to point out at this moment now when my problem is
solved. While I was in the BLUG Januarary meet, I got a call from someone (I
wont
disclose the name as I beleave in Change of Heart) stating that he has a
solution and it is not free. What I want to say is that when my question was
on the BLUG/LIH list, I would expect my answer on the list itself, if you
beleve in knowledge sharing. We have been sharing experiences and knowledge
on the lists since long. A mailing list/group is a synonm for that (If I am
wrong correct me please). And if you dont beleave in sharing please dont call
me on my cell asking for money ...I am sorry you are not welcomed at all
because:

1) First of all my question was on the BLUG/LIH list. If you have the
courage and vision to post
it on the list you are welcomed because it is not only me who is going to
benefit, other's too may face/would have faced this problem.
2) My employer is already having all Microsoft licenses etc and I have to
struggle with them a lot to make them understand the services/benefits of
using Linux, It is more of my emotionional attachment with Linux to bring
bring it everywhere in
my office/like. I cant struggle with them again to make you pay them
(because one
of the reason I gave them was that it is all free)
3) Linux is a free operating system and it wouldn't have been developed if
everybody would have thought like this.

I am simply not saying that Linux Consulting should be free, certainly I too
have plans to earn by Consulting in Linux afterall everyone has to earn his
livelihood in this professional world but what I say is that let us not try
to earn money among ourselves(BLUG members/LIH members). And let us have the
Vision to share Code/configurations the key to Linux Success!! Let us make
ourselves so powerful in Linux implementation/knowledge that our Employers
be proud of us and let us make this OS more reachable and change the
misconception of our Bosses that linux is not secured/safe/easy.

If I am wrong, correct me Please.
