See, you are perfectly right. Stupid thing to do, calling up and offering
solutions for pay like this.
[not aimed at you - just restating a post i made on LIH sometime back <g>]
The thing is that, on linux lists, you'll basically have to do some research
on your own first.
Don't just post questions like "I must set up a sendmail server for 10,000
users on my portal" without asking specific questions. OTOH intelligent
questions get intelligent answers in reply.
LIH (or any other linux list) is not "Instant Consultancy Services" where you
can get free advice without doing your own hard work. However, if you have
done research on your own to fix the problem (research meaning something as
simple as a manpage, and a google search) then you'll likely ask specific
questions, and get fast answers.
