I want to access mail from the outlook express client(win 98). I need to connect the client with the mail server. And the mail server is configured to fetchmails from the Gateway server which inturn is connected with VSNL (ISP). For that i require the user name & password of the mail server. As u must be knowing that we cannot login to the root from the client directly because of security reasons. I don't know exactly that by logging as the user amit , i'll be able to fetch mails or not.
Pls. confirm how to enable smtp using ntsysv , if u know Lets see...
