There is a very clear warning in the list guidelines
(http://kandalaya.org/guidelines.html) about these quasi-legal
messages.
Please accept my apologies if the language hurt your sentiments -- it
wasn't personal. Do appreciate that Devdas and I spend time and
energy managing these mailing lists for the benefit of thousands of
users, and we don't really get paid for it (people may ask for our
autographs when we walk down the street, but that's another matter ;-)
We have seen too many cases where asking for removal of the warning
has resulted in long e-mail conversations which generally go like
this:
1. Why should I remove it? What's wrong with it?
2. I can't remove it since the mail system appends it automatically.
3. My system admin refuses to stop appending the warning to my
messages.
4. [Take your pick of] You are a dumb list and I wish I'd never heard
of you
OR
OK, I'll get a Yahoo/Hotmail/something account and post from there.
My objective was to get to step 4 directly without having to pass
steps 1-3 on the way :) Sometimes a short cut can be a bit painful!
Regards,
