The only time I use cdrecord is when i create my own CD image or when
the image has no TOC. 

Cdrdao is simply too powerful!

Amazing how Cdrdao handles Video CDs isn't it? ;) Cdrdao copies
_anything_ that you throw at it. IMHO, this is the Linux equivalent of
the Windows Nero CD writing package.

FYI, Cdrdao has a root exploit if the setuid bit is on. I don't know
whether this is fixed in a later release so be careful.

Neither have I. Never had the need for it. All I do is clone Audio CDs
in DAO mode.
