I am using RHL7.2 and tried to setup DNS on my box. I have installed
bind, bind-utils & bindconf. I followed the DNS-HowTo and created the
files -
/etc/named.conf
/var/named/pz/127.0.0
/var/named/root.hints
/etc/resolv.conf
Then I came to starting named and got stuck. There is no file called ndc
or ndc start under /usr/sbin.
I remember doing this for RHL6.0 and did not face any problems. Is there
something different for 7.2?
Thanks,
K.Ghosh.
