Hello,
I have installed RH7.2 on an existing NT System, want to dual boot it. The first
primary partition is of 4 GB and the second extended partition is of 10 GB
After this I have installed the RH 7.2 on a 3 GB / partition and a /250 MB /swap
partition.
The Grub boot loader in selected to be installed on the first sector of the boot
partition, but currently
I am unable to boot to Linux. The system directly boots to NT and if I make the Linux
partition as the boot partition then
" mising Operatung System " message is shown.
I did get some error while assigning the root partition, but cannot recollect the
exact message.
I think the primary partition need not be under the 1024 sectors in new versions of
LILO, and I thought same is the case with Grub, right ?
Where have I gone wrong ?how d o I make linux boot ?
