Hi, Get hold of Indian Frequency table and use it. I had used bt878 based card with Indian frequency table.
<OT> Now 880 (it's the bleeding edge new generation chipset from conexant) is also supported in 2.4.x. The driver is complete now. It tunes PAL, NTSC, NTSC-J. But 880 driver is not yet fully complient with V4L2. We need to some more work to make it complient. </OT> iti Archan Tathagata Banerjee wrote: >folks, > >i have been unable to make my tv card work in linux, one of the reasons >i still need to dual-boot windows. it's a bt878 card, so it should be >well supported. yet when i try to tune it with xawtv or kwintv, i only >see very faint ghostly figures shivering and wavering, and on days the >reception is particularly good i can just about make out the HBO logo. i >have tried both with "europe-west" and "scan the whole range", but no >go. the scan fails to register any channel. > > > > ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by: Dice - The leading online job board for high-tech professionals.
