Problem is terminating the recording. If I do oggenc --raw /dev/dsp, it starts 
recording fine but I have to terminate it with ^C. Invariably that is recording 
is corrupt.

I will. As of now quelity is better. No noise at all while listening. Let's see 
what happens when you record it.

Cool. KHDRecord has broadcast interface but it doesn't deligate..

Weirder thing is radio does not mute the radio if terminated abruptly. So if I 
terminate it with SIGKILL, the radio keeps playing. I can shutdown the machine 
and it still keeps playing. Imagine 'Power Down' message on screen and radio 
playing in background..;-)
